Our product is energy efficient, with no moving or performance-degrading parts inside, and requires minimal maintenance. It overcomes several major deficiencies of conventional mechanical filtration which cannot destroy microorganisms. It also effectively eliminates VOC’s and odours.
Furthermore, unless replaced regularly, mechanical filtration leads to significant HVAC system pressure drop which must be overcome by larger plant size to compensate for the pressure drop.
Our bio-HEPA™ technology achieves up to 99.99998% single pass removal rate for harmful microorganisms including viruses, up to 98% of VOC’s, and HEPA filtration performance for particles that are equal to or larger than 0.3 µm, while maintaining a low pressure drop of approximately 120 Pascals.
We have developed a wide range of accessories to enable integration of PlasmaShield® within ducts and filter plenums for new and retrofit projects and for large and small applications. Accessories and configurations are designed to simplify HVAC maintenance associated with filter replacement and cleaning, therefore reduce time and risk.
